We have three business membership levels for local businesses who want to promote their businesses and demonstrate their support for our community:  Silver, Gold and Platinum.  At any time during the year, Businesses can also elect to purchase July 4th sponsorships, which are separate from dues contributions, by visiting the July 4th page of our website.

The Silver Business Membership allows a local business to be an NCBC member for the calendar year in which the membership is purchased. With this membership, Silver Business Members get a basic listing in the business directory on the NCBC website and are recognized as an NCBC supported.

The Gold Business Membership allows a local business to be an NCBC Member for the calendar year in which the membership is purchased. In addition, Gold Business Members can enhance patronage from Resident Members by offering discounts to dues paying NCBC Members.

The Platinum Business Membership allows a local business to be an NCBC Member for the calendar year in which the membership is purchased. With this membership, PlatinumMembers get an enhanced, customized listing in the business directory on the NCBC website and are recognized as an NCBC supporter. Platinum Business Members also can enhance patronage from Resident Members by offering discounts to dues paying NCBC Members. Platinum Members also are recognized on the NCBC website.

Membership Dues

Where do my dues go?
  • Contribute to the preservation and enhancement of our community and advancement of the stated mission of our Club. For example, club dues enabled us to keep residents informed about residential and commercial development in Bala Cynwyd, to provide valuable information to Township officials during public hearings on residential and commercial development, which can sometimes include hiring or consulting with experts such as traffic engineers.
  • Enable us to continue with our signature community event on the 4th of July.  This event alone costs the NCBC over $20,000 per year to host.
  • Fund the production of our quarterly newsletter, The Gateway, which alerts neighbors to events, activities and issues facing our community.
  • Provide each household with one vote at our annual meeting to elect our Board of Directors.

Eligibility

Who is eligible to be a member?

Individuals, households, and businesses that reside within Bala Cynwyd which is defined by City Avenue to the east, the Schuylkill River to the north, Rock Hill Road and Conshohocken State Road to the west and Meeting House Lane, Montgomery Avenue and Old Lancaster Road to the south.
