Your Civic Association:  We Welcome Everyone!

We are committed to promoting Bala Cynwyd’s uniqueness and to improving our high quality of life. The fabric of our community is textured, and our unique political and religious views are cause for celebration. As an organization, the NCBC strives to be inclusive and respectful to all no matter who they are or the beliefs that they hold.

The Organization

The Neighborhood Club of Bala Cynwyd—the civic association for Bala and Cynwyd—was established in 1906 and chartered in 1912. Since then, the Neighborhood Club has continuously worked to preserve the residential character of our neighborhoods and to promote community engagement in civic life.

The Neighborhood Club is a 501(c)(4) organization, and is managed by a volunteer Board comprised of 14 Directors and 6 Officers (President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Solicitor and Immediate Past President).

The Neighborhood Club meets the second Tuesday every month from September – June at:

Lower Merion Academy at 7:30pm
(adjacent to Bala Cynwyd Middle School)
506 Bryn Mawr Avenue
Bala Cynwyd PA 19004

Monthly meetings are public and open to all residents. They are forums for neighbors’ concerns and also function as town meetings to discuss local issues.

We are always looking for volunteers
